- check and if necessary adjust the clutch control, service and parking brakes control,
pneumatic system brake valve actuator;
- replace oil in the transmission;
- replace oil in the engine case;
- replace the engine oil filter;
- check and if necessary tighten bolts for cylinders heads fastening;
- check and if necessary adjust clearance between valves and rocker arms;
- check lubrication in all assembled units according to item 3 in Table 5.8.1. Lubri-
cate or replace lubricant where necessary;
- check and if necessary restore air-tightness of all connections in the air cleaner
and inlet duct;
- check operation of the engine, steering control, brakes, controls, illumination and
alarming systems.
- check pressure in tyres and bring it up to required rated value if necessary accord-
ing to Table 3.2.3;

3.5 Actions in Emergency Situations

3.5.1 To stop the tractor in emergency, press the clutch and brake pedals simulta-
neously and sharply.
3.5.2 To stop the engine in emergency, rotate the starter and instruments switch key
from position I into position 0.
3.5.3. In case of accident immediately stop the engine, apply tractor's brakes, dis-
connect the accumulator batteries, and leave the tractor through one of emergency es-
capes. Depending on the tractor's position, open the cab left door, the cab right door, rear
windshield or one of side windshields. To open side windshield, rotate the handle to open
the windshield into work position (work position is when the windshield is opened), then
press the handle into direction reverse to the tractor movement direction until the guiding
pivot completely leaves the handle, then completely open the windshield. If it is impossible
to open one of emergency escapes, break the glass in required emergency escape using
available heavy item and leave the tractor's cab.
Note – Locations of the emergency escapes are described in subsection 2.23 "Cab
locks and handles".
3.5.4 If the engine crankshaft RPM increased excessively, immediately stop the en-
gine and apply the tractor's brakes.
3.5.5 In case of smoke or fire stop the tractor, stop the engine and deactivate the
AB switch. Use the powder fire extinguisher to extinguish fire or cover up fire with sand,
cover by tarpaulin, bagging or other thick cloth. Do not pour water on burning fuel or oil.
