Each malfunction message (Example: 0----, FUEL, C-BUS) will be displayed on the
LCD according to their priority order irrelevant of the currently displayed information. If the
Mode button is pressed sequentially, the messages will be switched one after another.
When the last message is viewed and the Mode button is pressed again, the LCD will
switch into the mode of displaying according to previously input operating parameters.
The malfunction messages are displayed on the LCD after each activation of the
instrument up until these malfunctions are remedied.
When the MFD power supply is on, the MFI displays information in the indication
mode, which was selected prior to the MFD power supply switching off.

2.8.3 The Indicator Lights of the Multifunction Display

Principle of the MFD indicator lights operation:
-the indicator light of the headlights high beam activation 11 (Figure 2.8.1) will light
up when the headlights high beam is activated;
-the tractor and tractor trailer turn light indicators 13 and 12 will blink when the right
or left turn lights are activated by the multifunction steering column switch 2(Figure 2.2.1)
or when the emergency brake light is activated 4;
-the parking brake activation indicator light 14(Figure 2.8.1) will blink at the frequen-
cy 1 Hz when the parking brake activation sensor actuates;
-the vehicle network increased voltage indicator light 15 will light up, when the trac-
tor network voltage exceeds 19 V and will go off when the power supply voltage drops be-
low 17 V;
- the indicator light 16 is not used.
ATTENTION: WHEN THE TRACTOR NETWORK VOLTAGE EXCEEDS 19 V, THE
MFD WILL BE COMPLETELY SWITCHED OFF AND WILL RETURN TO NORMAL OPERA-
TION IF THE VEHICLE NETWORK VOLTAGE DROPS BELOW 17 V!
ATTENTION:THE INDICATOR LIGHTS LIGHT UP AND GO OFF SIMULTANEOUSLY
WITH CHANGES IN THE SYSTEMS SENSORS CONDITIONS!

2.8.4 Description of the Instrument Function Inspection

Each time when the MFD is connected to the power supply, the function of the RPTO shaft
indicator scale elements and pointer indicators is inspected. Meanwhile the pointers of indi-
cators are diverted from zero readings for no more than one second (or pointers are "danc-
ing" for no more than one second on the indicators' zero readings), both indicators 6 and 10
(Figure2.8.1) of the rear PTO shaft scale range will be activated, and all segments of the
rear PTO shaft scale segments will be on.

2.8.5 The Multifunction Display Programming Method

2.8.5.1 The Multifunction Display Control Panel
The programming panel 19 (Figure 2.1.1) can be used to manually program the dis-
play by the Parameter and Value buttons (see Figure 2.8.4) and to change the parameters
