Setting the Motor Holding Brake Type
Behavior with Spindle Brake
CM07, Holding brake type
The motor holding brake type can be set using Parameter CM07,
Holding brake type.
The following are stipulated:
• self-releasing or self-holding brake
• Spindle brake or servo brake
0 0
0 = self-holding brake
1 = self-releasing brake
0 = Servo brake
1 = Main spindle brake
The motor holding brake is always activated when the actual velocity of
the motor is less than 10 RPM.

24V at the brake, brake applied
Brake is applied after reaching the max. braking
time.
Brake is applied only at < 10 RPM
