show logging local

Use this command to display the state of message logging to the console and a persistent file.

show logging local

This example shows how to display the state of message logging. In this case, logging to the
console is enabled and logging to a persistent file is disabled.
C2(su)->show logging local
Syslog Console Logging enabled
Syslog File Logging disabled

set logging local

Use this command to configure log messages to the console and a persistent file.
Syntax
set logging local console {enable | disable} file {enable | disable}
Resets the severity level for a specific application to 6. Valid mnemonic
values and their corresponding applications are listed in Table
page 12‐8.
