D950 Channel Strip Fader Controls

The touch-sensitive channel fader is the primary channel output level con-
trol.
The fader Control Mode may be selected locally by pressing the AUTO /
MODE key. Repeated presses will cycle the available control modes <Op-
tion>.
The FDR STAT key is the primary control for automating the channel fader.
• A single press punches the channel fader in or out of RECORD if it is
enabled.
The FDR STAT key provides information on the automation status of the
channel fader:
• Steady Illumination: The fader is in WRITE or TRIM enable.
• Flashing: The fader is in RECORD.

Lights constantly when the fader is
enabled in either WRITE or TRIM. Flashes
when the Fader is in Record. Pressing the
key punches the fader in and out of
Record, if enabled.
Displays the fader automation enable
status.
ISO = Isolate
READ = Read
WRT = Absolute Enable
WRT + READ = Trim Enable
Always shows the difference between the
fader value and the effective read value.
An exception is to show the offset from
the trim null point when in TRIM mode
(this is always the absolute position of
the fader from 0 dB).
