5. REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Preceding Work: Disconnect the negative battery cable.
1. Remove the air bag module and steering wheel.
Air bag Module Assembly
NOTICE
• Be careful not to drop or shock the air bag
module during removal procedures.
Lift up the hook when disconnecting the air bag
contact coil connector (A).

Steering Wheel Assembly
Put an installation mark on the steering wheel,
column shaft and nut when removing the steering
wheel. Place the steering wheel to the straight
forward direction.
