2. REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF HOOD ASSEMBLY

Preceding Work: Cover the vehicle body and place the chocks under the tires.
Hood
1. Disconnect the washer fluid nozzle from the engine
hood.
3. Slacken the mounting bolts on the hood hinge
(Do not remove the bolts.)
NOTICE
• Make an alignment mark on the hood and hinge
for installation.
4. Carefully remove the engine hood.
Pay particular attention to avoid vehicle damage and
personal injury.

2. Unscrew the two shock absorber mounting bolts
(10 mm) from the engine hood.
