Configuration
3.1 System
Syntax
Call up the command with the following parameters:
clear counters [<interface-type><interface-id>]
The parameters have the following meaning:

interface-id
For information on names of addresses and interfaces, refer to the section "Addresses and
interface names (Page 30)".
If no parameters are specified, the counters for all interfaces are reset.
Result
The counters of the interface are reset.
Further notes
You can display the statistical information of the interfaces with the
counters

Description
With this command, you change to the Global configuration mode.
Requirement
You are in the Privileged EXEC mode.
The command prompt is as follows:

Call the command without parameters:
configure terminal
