Communication Ports
The RUGGEDCOM RP110 comes equipped with a standard BNC port for IRIG-B out,
an RS232/RS422/RS485 pluggable terminal for serial connections, and a 10Base-T
copper Ethernet port for connection with RUGGEDCOM WIN5000 Series devices.

Serial Terminal
The RUGGEDCOM RP110 is equipped with a seven-terminal Phoenix-style connector.
This connector can accommodate one RS232 connection, and one RS485/422
connection.
The serial terminal serves a dual purpose:
