Check for an open in the PCOM
circuit:
1, Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2 ,
Reconnect the ABS control
unit 22P connector.
3,
Connect the SCS service con-
nector.
4, Turn the ignition switch ON
(11).
5, Measure the voltage between
the pump motor relay con-
ne cto r PCOM terminal and
body groun d.

Is there approx. 3 V?

YES
Check for an op.n in the PMR cir-
cuit:
Measu re the voltage between the
ASS contro l unit 22P connector
terminal No. 19 and body ground.
"-
Is there approx. 3 V?
/
YES
Check for an open in the MCK
circuit:
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2.
Disconnect the SCS service
connector.
3. Turn the ignition switch ON
(II).

Measure the voltage between
the ASS control unit 22 P con-
necto r term inal No. 17 and
body ground while connect-
ing the pump motor relay
connector +B and MOTOR ter-
minal with a jumper wire for
moment.

Is there battery voltage?

Y ES
Check for loose ABS control unit
connectors.
