Measure Mainshaft Speed Sensor

Connect the mainshaft speed
sensor 2P connector.
2. Measure
the
resistance
between the 815 and 814 ter-
minals.

Check NM Wire Continuity:
1. Disconnect the 2P connector
from the mainshaft speed sen-
sor connector.
2. Check for continuity between
the S15 terminal and the No . 2
terminal of the mainshaft
speed sensor connector.

Is there continuity?

YES
Check NMSG Wire Continuity:
Check for continuity between the
B14 terminal and the No.1 termi-
nal of the mainshaft speed sensor
connector.

Is there continuity?
./
YES
Check for loose terminal fit in the
PCM connectors. If necessary.
substitute a known-good PCM
and recheck.
Run the Electrical Troubleshooting
