Troubleshooting
Recirculation Control Motor
Recirculation control door does
not change between Fresh and
Recirculate.
Check the No. 17 (7.5 A) fuse in the
under·dash fuse/relay box.

Is the fuse OK?
./
Replace ttt. fuse, and recheck .
YES
RECIRCULATION CONTROL MOTOR

Check for an open in the wire:

Disconnect the recirculation

control motor 4P connector.

Turn the ignition switch ON
(tl).

3. Measure the voltage between
the No.1 terminal and body

ground.
Repe;, open in the wwe between
Wire side of female terminals

Is there battery voltage?
the No. 17 fuse and the recircula-
tion control motor.
YES
Check the rec:irculation control
motor:
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2.
Test the recirculatio n control
motor (see page 22-42).
Check the recirculation control
linkage and door:
Is the recirculation control
NO
1. Remove the recircu lation con-
motor OK?

2. Check the recirculati on control

movement.

Do the recirculation control link-

Repair the recirculation control
