CAUTION: Whenever the ignition switch is ON (III. or
has been turned OFF for less than three minutes, be
careful not to bump the SRS unit; the air bags could
accidentally deploy
and
cause damage or injuries.
Check the fuse:
1. Turn
the ignition
switch OFF.
2. Check
for blown

fuse/relay
box

relay box and

SRS unit.

battery negative
cable,
then disconnect

positive cable, and wait for

Disconnect
the driver's and front passenger's airbag con-
nectors,
and disconnect
the seat belt
tensioner connectors

24-23).
4. Disconn
ect
the SAS
main harness lap

nnector from
the
SAS unit.
5.
Check
resistance
between
the

terminal of
the SAS
main harness
