End Cover
Removal
NOTE:
• The illustration shows the 4WD automatic transmission ; the 2WD is similar.
• Clean all parts thoroughly in solvent or carburetor cleaner, and
dry
them with compressed air.
• Blowout all passages.
• When removing the transmission end cover, replace the following :
- End cover gasket
- Lock washer
- a-rings
- Shaft locknuts
- Conical spring washers
- Sealing washers
