43. Set the park lever in
[f]
position, then verify that the
park pawl engages the park gear.
44. If the pawl does not engage fully, check the distance
between the park pawl shaft and the park lever
roller pin (see page 14-231).
45. Tighten the lock bolt and bend the lock tab.

46. Install the end cover with two dowel pins and a new
gasket (twelve bolts).
TORQUE: 12 Nom (1.2 kgf·m, 8.7 IbHt)
