6.11.2.21 neighbor nexthopself
This command is used to configure the router as the next hop for a BGP-speaking neighbor, use the
neighbor nexthopself command in Router BGP Config Mode. To disable this feature, use the no form of
this command.
Syntax
neighbor <peeripaddr> nexthopself
no neighbor <peeripaddr> nexthopself
peeripaddr: IP address of the neighboring router.

6.11.2.22 neighbor filter-list
This command is used to set up a BGP filter, use the neighbor filter-list command in Router BGP Config
Mode. To disable this function, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
neighbor <peeripaddr> filter-list <listnum> {in | out}
no neighbor <peeripaddr> filter-list <listnum> {in | out}
peeripaddr: IP address of the neighboring router.
listname: Number of an autonomous system path access list. You define this access list with the ip
as-path access-list command.
in: Access list is applied to incoming routes.
out: Access list is applied to outgoing routes.
