Outline of ARMS

ARMS (Advanced Registration Mark Sensing System) will scan the registration mark (reference line) written
on the media using sensors.
Registration mark reading accuracy when a designated registration mark is being read by this machine is within 0.3
mm.
Please take note of the following when reading a registration mark. Cutting area and width, page length,
certificate, zooming in/out can all be set.

Supplement
Perform the automatic registration mark scanning with paper-weight (See "Setting Paper-Weight"
might lift, and it may not scan the registration mark correctly if it is turned off.
When partition pastern is on, the ARMS function cannot be used.
In Simple mode, ARMS settings cannot be made.
Even in Simple mode, (performing operations) commands for specifying the registration marks can be used. For items with no
specified commands, the specified ARMS settings in Normal mode will be used.
Shape (Pattern) of the Registration Mark
The shapes (patterns) of the registration mark the plotter can scan are following 2 types.
MARK TYPE 1
MARK TYPE 1 is used when you do not want the registration mark
inside the cutting area. Cutting area becomes smaller for the area of
registration mark on the media.

Supplement
Left figure is for 4POINTS. Number of the
registration mark will be different for the
2POINTS and 3 POINTS, but the shape of
the registration mark will be same.
