Setting the Tool Condition

This section describes how to make the tool, speed, force,
acceleration, and tool number settings. Before cutting media, the
following five cutter-pen conditions must be specified.
(1) Cutter-blade length . ... Adjust the blade length by referring to the
(2) FORCE . ..................... Set the FORCE by referring to the table
(3) SPEED ...................... Set the SPEED by referring to the table
(4) ACCELERATION . ...... Set the ACCELERATION by referring to
(5) OFFSET .................... Set to suit the cutter blade being used.
CAUTION
It may result to damaging the cutter blade or the cutting mat if the blade is extended too much. Make sure the blade length is set
less than the thickness of the media.

When a blade type has been selected, the OFFSET is automatically adjusted by ±5 with respect to the default
cutter offset value for that blade type.
Select OTHER to use settings other than those displayed for hard-to-cut media.
Select pen to set the plotting pen.
