IP Unicast Commands

enable icmp useredirects

Enables the modification of route table information when an ICMP redirect message is received.

Syntax Description

This command has no arguments or variables.

Usage Guidelines

This option only applies to the switch when the switch is not in routing mode.

The following command enables the modification of route table information:

enable icmp useredirects

This command was available in ExtremeWare 2.0.

This command was added to the "e" series of switches in ExtremeWare 7.1e.

Platform Availability

This command is available on all platforms.
