Troubleshooting Commands

configure system-dump server

configure system-dump server <ip address>
Description
Configures the IP address to which to transfer a dump if the option is specified in the
system-dump
configuration.
NOTE
This command is available only on the "i" series switches.
Syntax Description
ip address Specifies the IP address to which to transfer a system dump.
Default
The default is 0 or "no IP".
Usage Guidelines
The IP address specified is also used if no address is provided in the command.
upload system-dump
The IP address must be reachable through the VLAN mgmt.
Example
The following command configures the IP address to transfer a system dump to 10.10.10.1:
configure system-dump server 10.10.10.1 3

This command was first available in ExtremeWare 6.2.2.
Platform Availability
This command is available only on platforms with an Ethernet management port.
