reasons:
The IO suppression mode of the
specified secondary data volume is
enabled.
The microcode version of the
secondary storage system does not
support external volumes.
6505 58346 The Paircreate operation failed because
a Data Retention VMA was set up on the
specified secondary data volume.
6505 58347 The Add Pair (Paircreate) operation
failed because of a Volume Security for
Mainframe setting on the specified
secondary data volume.
6505 58348 The Paircreate operation failed because
a Data Retention VMA was set up on the
specified primary data volume.
6505 58349 The Add Pair operation failed because
the specified primary data volume had
a Protect attribute set by Volume
Retention.
6505 58352 The Add Pair (Paircreate) operation
failed because the specified primary
data volume was one of the following:
a Business Copy S-VOL
a Business Copy Z T-VOL
a reserved volume
Recommended Action
Be sure that IO suppression mode of the
specified secondary data volume is
enabled on the Universal Volume Mgr
window. If the IO suppression mode is
disabled, check the microcode version
of DKCMAIN of the secondary storage
system, and contact HP Technical
Support.
From the Data Retention window, check
the settings of the specified secondary
data volume.
Check the setting of the specified
secondary data volume in the Volume
Security for Mainframe window.
From the Data Retention window, check
the settings of the specified primary data
volume.
From the Volume Retention window,
check the settings of the specified
primary data volume.
Check the status of the primary data
volume in the Business Copy window or
the Business Copy Z window.
