Operation principle
Trip matrix logic (TMAGGIO) block is provided with 32 input signals and 3 output signals. The
function block incorporates internal logic OR gates in order to provide the necessary grouping of
connected input signals (for example, for tripping and alarming purposes) to the three output
signals from the function block.
Internal built-in OR logic is made in accordance with the following three rules:
1.
when any one of first 16 inputs signals (INPUT1 to INPUT16) has logical value 1 (TRUE) the first
output signal (OUTPUT1) will get logical value 1 (TRUE).
2.
when any one of second 16 inputs signals (INPUT17 to INPUT32) has logical value 1 (TRUE) the
second output signal (OUTPUT2) will get logical value 1 (TRUE).
3.
when any one of all 32 input signals (INPUT1 to INPUT32) has logical value 1 (TRUE) the third
output signal (OUTPUT3) will get logical value 1 (TRUE).
