Function description
Broken conductor check
6.14.2 Functionality
Conventional protection functions can not detect the broken conductor condition. Broken
conductor check (BRCPTOC, 46) function, consisting of continuous current unsymmetrical check
on the line where the IED is connected will give alarm or trip at detecting broken conductors.
