12 Troubleshooting
Remedy
Switch off the PC and check the following:
®
• Check if the RTC
5 board is correctly seated in the PCI slot.
Refer to the instructions in your PC manual.
• Check for metal parts that may have fallen into the PC housing during
®
installation of the RTC
• Check for loose cables or connectors
• Check the software driver installation. See
• Use the included HPGL converter program to check if the board can
be properly accessed.
If not: Check the cable type and the cable length. If the scan system
is controlled via an XY2-100 converter, then check, whether the
converter's solder jumpers are set appropriate for the cable length
(see
page
43).
If yes: Check the DLL import declarations in your application software
(see
"Importing Commands", page
• Check the software driver installation. See
