Command Usage
A user and notification view are not automatically created. Use the
snmp-server user, snmp-server group and snmp-server view Global
Configuration mode commands to generate a user, group and notify group,
respectively.
Example
The following example configures an SNMPv3 host.
Console(config)# snmp-server v3-host 192.168.0.20 john noauth

snmp-server trap authentication

The snmp-server trap authentication Global Configuration mode command
enables the device to send SNMP traps when authentication fails. To disable SNMP
failed authentication traps, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
snmp-server trap authentication
no snmp-server trap authentication
Default Setting
SNMP failed authentication traps are enabled.

There are no user guidelines for this command.
Example
The following example enables SNMP failed authentication traps.
Console(config)# snmp-server trap authentication

no form of the command.
