To execute an EXEC-level command from the Global Configuration mode or any
configuration submode, use the do command in any configuration mode.
Syntax
do command
Parameters
• command — The EXEC command to be executed.
Default Setting
This command has no default configuration.

There are no user guidelines for this command.

Returns to the User EXEC mode.
Changes a login username.
Enters the Global Configuration mode.
Exits any configuration mode to the next highest mode in the CLI
mode hierarchy.
Closes an active terminal session by logging off the device.
Ends the current configuration session and returns to the
Privileged EXEC mode.
Displays a brief description of the help system.
Enables dumping all the output of a show command without
prompting. To disable dumping, use the no form of this command.
Lists the commands entered in the current session.
Displays the current privilege level.
