show clock

The show clock User EXEC mode command displays the time and date from the
system clock.
Syntax
show clock [detail]
Parameters
• detail — Shows timezone and summertime configuration.
Default Setting
This command has no default configuration.

Command Usage
The symbol that precedes the show clock display indicates the following:

The following example displays the time and date from the system clock.
Console> show clock
15:29:03 PDT(UTC-7) Jun 17 2002
Time source is SNTP
Console> show clock detail
15:29:03 PDT(UTC-7) Jun 17 2002
Time source is SNTP
Time zone:
Acronym is PST
Offset is UTC-8
Summertime:
Acronym is PDT
Recurring every year.
Begins at first Sunday of April at 2:00.
Ends at last Sunday of October at 2:00.
Offset is 60 minutes.
Description
Time is not authoritative.
Time is authoritative.
Time is authoritative, but SNTP is not synchronized.
