Command Usage
The command is relevant for both received unicast and broadcast.
If there is at least 1 trusted key, then unauthenticated messages will be
ignored.
Example
The following example authenticates key 8.
Console(config)# sntp authentication-key 8 md5 ClkKey
Console(config)# sntp trusted-key 8
Console(config)# sntp authenticate

The sntp client poll timer Global Configuration mode command sets the polling
time for the Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) client. To return to default
configuration, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
sntp client poll timer seconds
no sntp client poll timer
Parameters
• seconds — Polling interval in seconds (Range: 60-86400)
Default Setting
Polling interval is 1024 seconds.
