CLI – The following is an example of the CLI commands used for configuring Line
Passwords.
Console(config)# line console
Console(config-line)# password secret

Defining Enable Passwords

The Enable Page sets a local password for a particular access level.
Command Attributes
• Select Enable Access Level — Defines the access level associated with the
enable password. Possible field values are 1-15.
• Password — Defines the enable password.
• Confirm Password — Confirms the new enable password. The password
appears in the ***** format.
Web – Click System, WebViewMgmt, Passwords, Enable, define the fields, and click
Apply.
