Diagnosis
Possible Cause
Bulb burnt out
Main fuse blown
Socket, wiring or grounding faulty
Main fuse blown
Headlight relay faulty
Lighting or dimmer and passing switch
faulty
Possible Cause
Fuse blown
Headlight leveling switch faulty
Supply voltage too low
Headlight leveling actuator faulty
Socket, wiring or grounding faulty
Possible Cause
Engine oil pressure switch faulty
Lighting switch faulty
Wiring or grounding faulty
Lighting controller faulty
Correction
Replace bulb.
Replace fuse to check for short.
Repair socket or circuit.
Replace fuse to check for short.
Replace headlight relay
Check lighting or dimmer and pass-
ing switch referring to "Light Con-
trol Switch Combination Unit
Inspection" or "Dimmer/Passing
Switch Inspection" in this section.
Correction
Replace fuse to check for short.
Check headlight leveling switch
referring to "Light Control Switch
Combination Unit Inspection" in this
section.
Check charging system referring to
"Generator" in Section 6H.
Replace headlight housing.
Repair socket or circuit.
Correction
Check engine oil pressure switch
referring to "Engine Oil Pressure
Switch Inspection" in Section 8C.
Check lighting switch referring to
"Light Control Switch Combination
Unit Inspection" in this section.
Repair circuit.
Check lighting controller referring
to "Lighting Controller Circuit
Inspection" in this section.
