REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
• the pressure relief valve (6) from the pump
housing.
• oil pump housing cover
INSPECT
Measure the oil pump gear-to-housing clearance (A)
with a feeler gauge.
• minimum clearance - 0.05 mm (0.002 in)
• maximum clearance - 0.12 mm (0.005 in)
Measure the gear end-clearance (B) with a
straight-edge and feeler gauge.
• minimum clearance - 0.02 mm (0.001 in)
• maximum clearance - 0.10 mm (0.004 in)
INSTALL OR CONNECT
• Oil pump housing cover
