CLEAN AND INSPECT
CLEAN
• All parts with a good grade of cleaning solvent
and dry with compressed air.
WARNING
Always wear safety goggles when working with
compressedair to prevent eye injuries.
INSPECT:
Check that the following are in good condition:
- the gear teeth
the bearing locating areas
the planet wheel washers
the splines in the differential housing
the shift forks
synchronizer teeth and parts
