STARTER

BRUSH REPLACEMENT
Remove:
• the starter
• the case
• Unsolder the brushes to be replaced.
• Solder on the replacement brushes.
• Check the armature and reinstall the starter.
SOLENOID REPLACEMENT
Unscrew:
• the electrical connection
• the mounting nuts
• Remove the solenoid
• During installation, put the spring in place and
check the seal.
