TRANSMISSION REBUILD
DISASSEMBLY
When taking out bolt (A), take care not to drop the
manually operated valve (VM) or the plate and two
seals under the control unit.
NOTE: See the chapter "Hydraulic Control Unit" for
complete instructions on dismantling
the
valve body.
Remove clip (A) and disconnect solenoid pilot valve
connector (T).
REMOVE:
- the parking pawl plunger (27)
- spring (28)
NOTE: To remove lever (30), place it in 1st gear
"Hold"
(opposite the "Park" position) and
extract roll pin (G).
TAKE CARE NOT TO LOSE THE QUADRANT
BALL AND SPRING.
