Throttle Position Switch Adjustment
With the throttle plate against its idle speed stop,
slowly rotate the throttle position switch (TPS)in the
direction of the throttle plate opening until the inner
stop can be felt. .
NOTE: The TPSadjustment can also be accomplished
with an ohmmeter. Refer to the Functional
Tests.
Tighten the two switch mounting screws.
If adjustment of the TPSwill not produce the proper
rest, mid-range and WOT specifications, replacement
of the switch is necessary.
