FAULT • CORRECTION CHART
Stays in 3rd or gears change at random and
warning light does not illuminate
FAULT - PROBABLECAUSE
CHECKS· CORRECTIVE ACTION
1. Lack of ground or poor ground to computer Check grounding at the multipurpose switch. Check
the vehicle wiring harness.
2. Kick-down switch wire poorly connected or Check routing and condition of kick-down switch
