EXTERNAL SEAL REPLACEMENT
DIFFERENTIAL SEAL

REMOVAL:
Drain the final drive case.
Disconnect the transmission shaft at the final drive
end.
Mark the position of the adjusting nut (C) in relation
to the housing.
Remove the locking washer.
Unscrew the nut, counting the number of turns. Use
tools B.Vi. 805 and B.Vi. 645.
Replace either the seal only or the nut/seal assembly.
1st ARRANGEMENT: Seal with 2 lips.
