TRANSMISSION REBUILD
REASSEMBLY
ADJUSTING F2 PISTON

This is adjusted using a spacer shim (C) which is
available in three sizes (0.5, 1 and 2 mm). It is placed
between the F1 piston support (8) and the F2 brake
discs (7).
Calculation example
Clearance measured: 3.6 mm
Select the 2 mm shim
Clearance after adjustment: 3.6 - 2 = 1.6
When the assembly has been reassembled with the
shim, check the clearance again.
Do not use more than two shims.
CHECKING THE OPERATION OF THE PISTON
Make sure that the piston is working properly by
blowing compressed air through hole (T).
Check that the piston moves backwards and
forwards properly.
