REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
• Camshaft oil seal (E) by prying it out gently with a
small pry tool.
CAUTION
When removing the camshaft oil seal, use care to
prevent scratching the oil seal contact surface on
the camshaft.
• Camshaft

• Compress each valve spring with a valve spring
compressor and remove:
valve locks (1)
retainer (2)
valve spring (3)
washer (4)
valve stem oil deflector (5)
• Remove the valves from the cylinder head.
