• Intercom — Do not select a resource. The LED is unused. Press the key, dial an extension,
and then press # to page the extension in Intercom mode. If the Intercom key is not
programmed, press *84, dial an extension, and then press U Dial. The Intercom
function can only page TalkSwitch phones.
• Park — Do not select a resource. The LED is unused. Press the key to put the call on hold
in the next available park orbit. The system will respond with the park orbit number
(500 to 509). If the Park key is not programmed, press k, *510#.
• Un-park — Do not select a resource. The LED is unused. While the phone is on-hook,
press the key, dial the park orbit number (500 to 509), and then press # to retrieve the
call. If the Unpark key is not programmed, lift the handset, press **, dial the park orbit
number, and then press #.
• Pickup any — Do not select a resource. The LED is unused. Press the key to answer a call
from an outside number ringing any extension. If the Pickup Any key is not
programmed, press *9#.
• Pickup ext — Do not select a resource. The LED is unused. Press the key, dial an
extension, and then dial # to answer a call from an outside number or extension ringing
the extension. If the Pickup Ext key is not programmed, press *7, dial the extension,
and then press #.
• Overhead page — Do not select a resource. The LED is unused. Press the key to page the
office. If the Overhead Page key is not programmed, press *0#.

Programming TS-480i softkeys

The TS-480i has 14 programmable softkeys. The keys allow the user to access TalkSwitch
features, and to monitor and engage lines, extensions and queued calls (i.e. line appearance).
Note that the keys cannot be programmed if the extension has hot line access enabled. In this
case, pressing the HotLine softkey of the TS-480i connects to the resource.
1. Click Configure Keys. This button is enabled if the IP Extension Details area is complete. The
TalkSwitch 480i window appears.
