    TalkSwitch unit, but the ringtones will imitate calls from another location. This guide does not cover all of the functions in the TalkSwitch system. Please feel free to improvise and make any configuration changes to demonstrate other features. You should test these features before a demonstration to ensure they function properly.

    Local extensions / fax The Local Extensions / Fax page sets up two extensions connected to TalkSwitch unit 1 and one extension connected to TalkSwitch unit 2. Each extension has a name in order to demonstrate caller ID. Type of Phone is set to TalkSwitch TS-600. The TalkSwitch TS-200, TS-400 and TS-600 phones allow you to demonstrate the message waiting counter, intercom paging and group paging.

    Extension 112 Call handling for extension 112 allows you to demonstrate the call queue function. • First name and Last name are Jane Doe. • The Call Handling area sets up the call queue function. If the extension is busy, the call is placed in the extension’s call queue.

    The Remote Extensions page sets up remote extension 211. If you dial 107 to call TalkSwitch unit 1, and then dial 211 at the auto attendant, the TalkSwitch system will put you on hold. It will then dial 106 through line 2 causing the cordless phone to ring.

    Ring groups The Ring Groups page sets up two ring groups. If you dial an extension directly it will use the regular ring pattern. If you dial a ring group, the extensions will use an alternate ring pattern, and the caller ID information will indicate the call is to a ring group. This way the user can tell whether they are being called directly or as part of a team.

    The VoIP Numbers page sets up two VoIP numbers for unit 1 and another two VoIP numbers for unit 2. They allow two TalkSwitch units to demonstrate a TalkSwitch VoIP network. If only one TalkSwitch unit is connected, the VoIP Numbers page is unused.
