REP 5.19 Retard Roll Assembly

Removal
Switch off the electricity to the machine. Refer to
from the customer supply while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Electricity
can cause death or injury. Moving parts can cause injury.
NOTE: A new retard roll assembly and feed/nudger roll assembly must both be installed at the
same time. Refer to REP 5.10.
1. Open the upper feeder assembly.
2. Release the hook (1), then open the retard CRU cover assembly in the direction of the
arrow, Figure 1.

Repairs and Adjustments

GP 10. Disconnect the power cord
3. Remove the retard roll assembly (1),

Replacement
1. The replacement is the reverse of the removal procedure.
2. If a new retard roll assembly is installed, enter
counter 955-806.
