Check the wiring and the connectors for the motor circuit.
Six Wire Stepper Motor
NOTE: A stepper motor with an internal open circuit may appear to be fully functional under
dC330
component control. However, under normal operation it will run with intermittent failure.
Use the standard digital meter to check that the resistance of the stepper motor coils are simi-
lar.
Disconnect PJF
(Flag
5). Check the +24V supply and the motor on pulses when the com-
ponent control code for the motor is entered.
Disconnect PJD
(Flag
4). Check the +24V, +5V and 0V supplies.
Check the clock pulses
(Flag
4).
Check that the signal on PJD pin 13
for the motor is entered.
Check the wiring and the connectors for the motor circuit.
