3) Ignition System
A. Secondary circuit
Disconnect the high·tension
cord (DIST) from the distribu·
tor, and check for spark gener-

Replace high-
tension cord.

Remove the plug from the en-
gine and attach it to the high-
tension cord; then check for
spark generation. Also check
the plug electrodes for wear,
contamination, or wetness,
and the insulator for cracks.

Check the fuel system, ignition
timing, advance angle and the
firing order.

wear, the terminal for fitting, and the high-
