2) Inspection
Refer to the topic under the reverse
clutch previously described.
3) Assembly
To assemble forward clutch, reverse
the order of disassembly.
Be sure to apply the ATF to all parts
when assembling.
a. After assembly, check the clearance
between the snap ring

to see that it is
within the specifications.

b. Install the forward and reverse
clutch assemblies to the oil pump
carrier. Apply air into the oil hole
to see that the forward clutch
moves properly.

1) Disassembly
a. Use the following tools to remove
the snap ring from the center
support.

2) Inspection
a. Replace low
&
reverse return spring
if it is fatigued.
b. Check seal ring and O-ring for
damage. If necessary, replace.
c. Replace other parts which are worn
or damaged .
