Moisten a lint-free cloth with isopropyl alcohol.

Wipe the ceramic ferrule with the cloth. Be sure to wipe the entire length of the ferrule and the

ferrule tip.

Dry the ferrule with air.

If the connector is not being used immediately, cover the connector with the dust cap.
