You can connect a PC to the Avaya Media Gateway through an analog modem to an INADS port.
Connect the equipment as shown in
a remote Avaya Media Gateway, on page
Follow these steps to connect to the Avaya Media Gateway through a modem.
1
Connect the computer to the modem.

Connect an analog telephone line to the leftmost analog-line port on the modem.
3
Make sure that the modem's DIP switches are set as shown in
Settings on page
4
Plug the modem into an AC power outlet.
5
Turn on the modem.
