AIR BAG AND PRETENSIONERS
Front side seat belt: Removal - Refitting

a Remove:
- the deflector according to (4) then (5) ,
- the upper bolt (6) from the front side seatbelt.
a Unlock the connector (7) from the front side seat belt
inertia reel.
a Disconnect the connector (7) of the front side seat
belt inertia reel.
a Remove:
- the bolt (8) from the stiffness harness,
- the front side seat belt inertia reel bolt (9) ,
- the stiffness harness (10) ,
- the front centre seat belt inertia reel.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit:
- the front side seat belt inertia reel,
- the stiffness harness.
a Torque tighten the stiffness harness bolt (21 N.m).
a Connect the connector of the front side seat belt in-
ertia reel.
a Lock the connector of the front side seat belt inertia
reel.

Note:
To ensure that the seat belt operates correctly,
the return clips should remain in their housing.
If the clips come out of their housing, always
replace the front side seatbelt.

a Ensure that the inertia reel clips (11) are engaged in
the bolt neck.
a Torque tighten the front side seat belt (upper
bolt21 N.m).
a Refit the deflector.
