4.5 XENON LAMP

1. Remove the exposure glass and operation panel. (See Exposure
Glass/Operation Panel/Upper Cover.)
2. Remove the scanner frames. (See Scanner Frame.)
3. Press the lamp holder [A] down with a screw driver, as shown.
4. Slide the xenon lamp [B] forward and remove it (1 connector).
NOTE: Do not touch the glass surface of the xenon lamp.
5. After installing the new lamp, press the lamp holder up to the original
position so that it holds the lamp properly.
