A224 ROM MODIFICATION HISTORY
DESCRIPTION OF MODIFICATION
Version A, B, & C were for the
pre-production machines.
- (New SP Mode)
SP6-006-4: ARDF Main-Scan Registration
of the rear side.
- (Specification)
When the paper cassettes do not have the
different direction papers (same size), the
machine continues to print by sort function
even if the Rotate Sort function is
selected.(The previous version software
stops the copy job when one of tray is
empty).
- The stapler may not work when the
printer feeds out the paper with staple
while feeding out the paper into the finisher
in copy or fax mode.
- When 2 sheets of paper remain in the
Duplex Unit and the printer prints out the
image in the duplex mode, the printer
image will be printed on the rear side of the
remaining paper.
- New SP is added.
SP5-949:1 = When one of the trays is
empty, the paper end indicator (red LED)
lights.
- The DF Jam display is cleared by DF
lifting up and down.
- (For USA only)
New SP is added.
SP5-950: LG size paper detection on the
by pass tray.
* When this function is selected and LT
size is inserted in the by-pass tray, the
machine detects it as LG

Correspond to the Energy Star standard.
- After the fax transmission through ARDF
with a stamper, the registration of the 1st
copied paper by ARDF is delayed.
